I fell in love with clay in high school under the guidance of a truly amazing art teacher. After a few decades of raising a family and trying out other occupations, I decided to test the waters again by taking a pottery class at the local community center; I was instantly hooked! I was accepted into a ceramics mentoring program in Asheville, North Carolina where my love for the medium was solidified.
Throughout my life, clay has remained a grounding element. At times I feel just as transformed as the clay!
